Each mask is designed to have a 3-layer protection that covers the mouth and nose.  The Surgical Face Masks have a Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) and a Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) of up to 99%, which intends to filter out airborne particles that may contain germs, viral infection and bacterial contaminants.
